Nature as Our Guiding Principle

Hosting the Adventure Racing World Championship in Corsica is about far more than crossing an exceptional landscape; it is a commitment to protecting it and sharing it with the world.

The Parc Naturel Régional de Corse covers more than half of the island and stands as one of the most unspoiled natural environments in Europe. Its Laricio pine forests, crystal-clear rivers, wildlife and high-mountain scenery form a remarkable setting that the race will have the privilege of passing through – a privilege that comes with real responsibilities.

That is why everyone taking part in ARWC 2026 – athletes, media, volunteers and staff – is committed to acting responsibly throughout the event: respecting local wildlife and plant life, protecting waterways, preventing any risk of wildfire, and supporting the local economy.

These commitments are not restrictions. They reflect the very values that define adventure racing.

The Parc Naturel Régional de Corse is opening its doors to us. The only checkpoint we must never miss is the one that matters most: respect for nature. Leave only one trace – the memory of the adventure lived.
