In Corte, every team goes through several checks before the start of ARWC 2026. The process helps ensure that athletes are ready for the demands of a multi-day race in which they must be self-sufficient.
The programme includes mandatory equipment checks, an inspection of the first-aid kit each team must carry, and administrative checks. Volunteers and members of the organising team welcome competitors at each stage, answer their questions and help them through these final preparations.
