NEW ARWS WORLD RANKING

The new ARWS world ranking was published on December 3. The French team 400Team climbs to the top spot in this ranking—a performance that confirms the team’s consistency, dedication, and excellence in international races.
Also on the podium: Estonian ACE / La Sportiva (Estonia) and Kailas Fuga (Brazil).

REGISTRATION IS OPEN

On Saturday, 13 December 2025, exactly 290 days before the start of the 2026 Adventure Racing World Championship (#ARWC2026), registration will open for teams.

The Corsica Regional Natural Park is one of the partners of ARWC 2026. Its support is invaluable in designing the best course possible at the heart of the Island of Beauty.

ON THE RIVERS WITH JAWS…

Jaws, the technical benchmark in high-end packrafts, based in Isère at the foot of the Chartreuse massif, is an official partner of the ARWC.

HERTZ CORSE IN THE RACE

Hertz, the world’s No. 1 car rental brand, is exclusively represented in Corsica by its longest-standing franchisee: the company Filippi Auto, with agencies in Bastia, Calvi, Ajaccio, Solenzara, Propriano and Figari.

As an official partner of the ARWC 2026, Hertz Corse is supplying all vehicles for the organisation, partners and media — including a number of electric cars.

ANTOINE ORSINI, PRESIDENT OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

An Organizing Committee was created to oversee the planning and execution of ARWC 2026. It coordinates and implements all operations related to the World Championship.

The presidency has been entrusted to Antoine Orsini, president of the Communauté de communes de Centre Corse.

From the very beginning, Antoine Orsini has been actively involved alongside the organizers. He teaches hydrobiology at the University of Corte and has published several works on water, both worldwide and in Corsica. He will serve on the event’s as a strong and committed ecological authority.

🎥SAFAT, WORLD CHAMPION

Winners of the 2025 World Championship in Canada, the Swedish Armed Forces Adventure Team (Safat) are the current reigning world champions.

After a race they nearly led from start to finish, Safat claimed victory at the Subaru Canada Adventure Racing World Championship 2025 in Penticton, British Columbia. The team — composed of Malin Hjalmarsson, John Karlsson, Per Vestling, and Erik Jonsson — crossed the finish line shortly after 3 a.m., recording a time of 116 hours and 6 minutes. This marks their third Adventure Racing World Championship title.
