This Thursday, 1 October, at 6 a.m., 98 teams and 392 athletes set off from the heart of Corte for the Adventure Racing World Championship. Ahead of them lay 505 kilometres across Corsica, with the finish line on Napoléon Beach in L’Île-Rousse. From their first steps into the Tavignano to the rugged trails of the Bozio, the opening day immediately plunged them into the demanding world of adventure racing.
